Watsonian to launch a special fighter

GP Manx Special Edition Watsonian sidecars has produced a cheeky special edition of its popular GP Manx to celebrate the company's centenary in 2012. You may have seen it on display at Motorcycle Live 2011.

A 'shark mouth' logo has been added that was made famous by 112 Squadron RAF ("The Shark Squadron"). Remove some aluminium beading, add on a short screen and the result is the production of a little road-ready flying machine which with enough time and budget can be fitted to almost any adventure bike with a substantial frame that cradles the engine.

Daves crash

6 Aug, 2011, a rider coming towards us at low speed loses the front on a damp stretch of the putty rd. he slides directly into the path of Dave on his K1300R. Dave ends up down but not out, shaken but not stirred (... yes... I watch too much TV), the other guy not so lucky but will survive. fortunately a relatively low speed crash. Video Rating: 0 / 5

Dakar Rally party with Ross Noble

Dakar bike, Desert Rose Get together in London on Thursday 1 December this week from 7pm for a good ol' knees up at the Dakar rally party in Nottinghill where there will be no shortage of entertainment.

Following the success of the "D-Day" ride that saw over 30 supporters parade through the big smoke earlier this month, Dakar team GB is laying on an evening of bike-based fun to introduce the Dakar rally, support chosen charities and launch Dakar into 2012 with a lively celebration.
